A course given by qualified language instructor (M. A. University of Heidelberg) with years of experience in tutoring and presented in a friendly atmosphere in one of Germanys most beautiful regions.

Carlheinz and Sabine Lietz invite you to take part in this unique and exceptional language course. The idea is very simple. A language cannot be learned by simply studing books - the student must practice speaking in everyday situations. With this in mind, you will live in our house, take lessons in the morning and enjoy the opportunity to speak and practice your German all day. In no time, this style of immersion-study will have you thinking in German--the first step towards truly speaking a language fluently.

The instruction is offered in weekly courses. A typical day starts with 3 - 5 hours of conventional lessons. The lessons tailored to each individual´s interest and ability. This is possible due to the fact that we accept but one student per week. As that one student, your involvement in discussions during and after meals takes on a new meaning as well as giving you new insight into the German lifestyle and culture.(Another 5 hours minimum - so the total time for tutoring will be 8 hrs minimum per day!).

You will of course have leisure time of your own. You can relax in our shady garden or take a jaunt into the local village. Remember that Bingen is centrally located. Situated on the Rhine river at the beginning of the picturesque and romantic Rhine-Valley, this small city is but a short train ride to Frankfurt (Airport) or Heidelberg. For wine lovers, Bingen is surrounded by the world-famous vineyards and wineries of the Rheingau, Mittelrhein and Nahe.
